Hi, I’m Zach’s sister
Zach was born and raised in a small town in Northern California, where he was incredibly fortunate to grow up in a community that embraced him. He attended school alongside his peers, played on the basketball and football teams, raised pigs through FFA, and gew up surrounded by love and friends.
After graduation, life naturally happened. I left for college, started my career, got married, and built a life of my own., as did a lot of mine and Zach’s friends. Zach stayed home with our mom. As the years have gone by, it's become more and more apparent just how much he misses having people to connect with.
One thing has never changed, though: every single day, without fail, Zach checks the mailbox.
To most people, it's just part of the daily routine. To Zach, it's the possibility that someone, somewhere, was thinking about him.
I've realized that what he loves isn't really the mail itself—it's what the mail represents. Friendship.
That's what inspired Postcards4Zach.
Today, this project starts with my brother, but I hope it doesn't end here.
I’d love to build a community where people like Zach—and others who may have fewer opportunities to make new connections—can experience the simple joy of finding a postcard waiting for them. Because everyone deserves connection and friendship.
